The INSPIRE Channel Islands Reception was held on Thursday 2nd May 2019, at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, St Helier. Our aim was to develop our network of Grant Making Trusts throughout the Channel Islands by illustrating our endeavours and our need for funding. INSPIRE Trustee Dr Stephen Duckworth OBE who broke his neck on the rugby field in 1981, spoke about ‘The Realities of Spinal Cord Injury’.
We were honoured to welcome Senator John Le Fondré, Chief Minister of Jersey amongst other guests including; medical specialists, therapists and also members, patrons, trustees and friends of the wider INSPIRE family. Throughout the evening guests enjoyed a selection of drinks and canapés.
